The shtender, is a personal lectern used by many while praying and studying. It is traditionally used by the one who is leading the prayer services. It has widespread use by individuals when praying and studying, especially when doing so from larger editions, easing the ability to study and pray in comfort without straining the eyes and back. Shtenders come mainly two versions, tabletop and floor. Some advance models have the ability to transform between these two styles as needed by detaching or assembling two separate pieces.
